Studies show that many older folks, like those over 65, are still interested in sex and having it regularly. In fact, more than half are sexually active! And a good chunk do it at least twice a month. This proves that wanting sex doesn't just disappear when you get older.

Many people mistakenly believe that getting older means you can no longer enjoy sexual activities. This is simply not true!
It's common to experience some changes as we age, like high blood pressure or arthritis. But these don't have to stop you from having a healthy sex life. There are many treatments available to help, like lubricants for women and medications for men. Even simple lifestyle changes, like eating healthy and exercising regularly, can make a big difference.
Sexual Activity and Heart Health
There's a myth that sex is dangerous for older folks' hearts. Not quite true! Dating apps make it easier for people to meet up, and some folks might not realize they still need protection. No matter your age, you can catch an STD. The best way to stay safe? Be like James Bond – always prepared! Use protection and get checked regularly.
Embracing Sex Throughout Life
Physical health inevitably changes as we age, and these changes can affect sexual activity. Also, common issues may arise for seniors, such as ED and vaginal dryness. These are often worsen by chronic conditions like arthritis, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases.
